This is the front of my fridge.
Right now it's covered in an assortment of graduation, wedding and luncheon invitations along with our recycling schedule and a save-the-date. But there's one thing that stays up no matter what's going on.
Can you see it? That big orange notepad toward the center with a great big "EAT" in white letters?
That my friends is the best $8 this list-loving planner has ever spent. It's my meal schedule in nice pretty packaging.
I ran across the thing in Anthropologie not long after we got married, and it was organizing love at first sight. There's space to write in dinners for each night along with blocks for breakfast, lunch and snacks. And - according to the sticker on the packaging - there are over 59 sheets (which means there's probably 60-62 sheets), which means I buy a new pad once a year.
I have to admit that while I do put something under each day for dinner - it doesn't always get eaten on that specific night. Mostly it's just there so I know what I have in my fridge and pantry so I can decide what's best for each day's schedule.
And it makes grocery shopping remarkably efficient. I make my list off my schedule, grab my coupons and away I go. It's amazing how the thing has made life a little easier for me.
I'm telling you - there's nothing like a little $8 simplicity!
