Not just because the Bible tells me so, though that's a large part of it.
But also because my parents told me all the time. More than that, they modeled it. Their assurance of my significance and my security, and their actions to back up their words, weren't simply to reinforce their love for me, but also to provide a physical example of how Jesus loves me. Completely. Just because I'm His. Not because of anything I've done or haven't done.
Jesus loves me, this I know for the Bible and my mom and dad tell me so.
